Christ Jesus Baptist Church Food Pantry was organized in 1992 by the Late Reverend Clifford White and  his wife, Odell White in a quest to fulfill their desire to “feed God’s people.”

Every Wednesday since its inception, Christ Jesus Baptist Church Food Pantry has distributed food to the people of the Bronx. 

 

We distribute food weekly, and on occasion, gently used clothing to the people. 

 

In 2014, we formed NahYah Ministries.

encounters all types of people from many different backgrounds and serves them with the same devotion.  When we encounter someone in need of financial assistance, we are certain to make sure that they are pointed in the right direction, (i.e. food stamps, social security, housing, employment, etc.)  And, when needed, we help them with the paperwork, attend meetings, help with applications for those that can’t read or write and advocate for them as well. 

 

​The battle to beat hunger and “Feed God’s People” is never ending and ever enduring.  It is our goal to make a difference in helping those in need.
